Aquamarine is a variety of beryl — the same family as emerald and morganite — colored a clear water-blue by traces of iron; its name comes from the Latin for "sea water". Mohs hardness 7.5–8. A March birthstone, with stone meanings of happiness, composure and courage.
Most aquamarine on the market is heated to adjust its color, but SMUK's aquamarine is unheated — delivering the natural water-blue exactly as the stone holds it.

The thin and thick chains use different clasps — each fitted with a spring-ring clasp sized to the weight of that chain, both in Italian sterling silver 925.
