About Rhodolite Garnet
Rhodolite is a variety of garnet. Its name comes from the Greek rhodon, meaning "rose," after its vivid rosy red lightly tinged with purple. This garnet is natural and untreated, mined in Mozambique, with few inclusions and a clear, luminous sparkle. Rating 7–7.5 on the Mohs scale, it is the birthstone for January and a symbol of victory and enduring love.

SMUK uses four types of plating finishes, selected according to the materials and intended use of each piece of jewelry.
- Rhodium Plating
A finish made with a rare precious metal from the platinum group. It offers excellent resistance to tarnishing and scratches, with a clear, bright silver tone. Suitable for those with sensitive skin. - 18K Gold Plating
