About London Blue Topaz
London blue topaz is the deepest, most subdued shade of blue topaz, with a distinctive grey-tinged blue. It has a Mohs hardness of 8 and is the November birthstone. Naturally blue topaz is rare, so most blue topaz on the market is colorless topaz that has been irradiated to create its blue. The color is stable and resistant to fading, and we are always open about this treatment. It is said to symbolize friendship and hope.

SMUK uses four types of plating finishes, selected according to the materials and intended use of each piece of jewelry.
- Rhodium Plating
