SMUK is launching a necklace collection in natural Mozambique rhodolite garnet, now live on Makuake.
When you think of "garnet," a deep, dark red comes to mind. But rhodolite is a bright, clear rose-red with a hint of violet — a colour rarely found even among garnets.
No heat, no dye — the natural colour as it is. A vivid, ripe-raspberry rose-red, just as the earth made it.
The name "rhodolite" comes from the Greek "rhodo" (rose). Garnet is January's birthstone, with the meanings "victory" and "unchanging love." Long called the "stone of victory," it was worn as a charm by those heading toward an important moment.
